MiliRoute Free vs Premium: What the 10-Stop Limit Means for You
MiliRoute Free covers routes of up to 10 stops. Premium removes that limit for A$15 a month or A$140 a year. Everything else is the same on both plans.
Key takeaways
- The only difference is stops per route. Free: up to 10. Premium: no limit.
- Both plans use the same route optimizer and every feature: address scanner, proof of delivery, route analytics with PDF export, route history, favourite addresses and sharing a route as a link.
- Premium costs A$15 a month or A$140 a year, in Australian dollars, paid by card through Stripe.
- There is no free trial, because the Free plan has no time limit and needs no credit card.
- If most of your runs have 10 stops or fewer, you may never need Premium.
What do you get on the Free plan?
You get the whole app, for routes of up to 10 stops. There is no card to enter and no time limit. On the Free plan you can:
- Put your stops in the quickest driving order. MiliRoute uses Google's estimated driving times to do this.
- Scan addresses with the phone camera instead of typing them. See how to scan delivery addresses with your phone camera.
- Record proof of delivery: a signature, a photo, a note, or a reason when a delivery fails. See how to capture proof of delivery.
- Open route analytics and save them as a PDF.
- Keep a history of past routes and a list of favourite addresses.
- Share a route with another driver as a link. See how to share a delivery route with another driver.
- Use the Android app and the web app on one account.

What is the only difference between Free and Premium?
The number of stops you can put in one route. Nothing else is held back.
| Free | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| Stops in one route | Up to 10 | No limit |
| Price | A$0 | A$15 a month or A$140 a year |
| Route optimizer | Same | Same |
| Address scanner | Yes | Yes |
| Proof of delivery | Yes | Yes |
| Route analytics and PDF | Yes | Yes |
| History, favourites, sharing | Yes | Yes |
What happens when you go over 10 stops on the Free plan?
MiliRoute does not plan a route of more than 10 stops on the Free plan. In the Android app, a box opens with the title Stop limit reached and the message "The Free plan supports up to 10 stops per route." It has two buttons: Cancel, and Upgrade to Premium, which opens the plan screen. The message from MiliRoute's server, which the web app uses, reads:
The Free plan supports up to 10 stops per route. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited stops.
You have two ways forward:
- Upgrade to Premium and plan the whole day as one route.
- Split the day into two routes of up to 10 stops each. MiliRoute puts each route in its best order on its own. It does not compare the two routes with each other, so the split is yours to choose. Group nearby suburbs together, not stops in the order the orders arrived.

Which plan fits your day?
Count the stops on your usual run.
- 10 stops or fewer on most days: stay on Free.
- Often 11 or more: Premium saves you the work of splitting and re-planning.
- A busy day now and then: you can use Free all month and split the odd long day. Or pay for one month of Premium and cancel when the rush is over (see below).
For a sense of scale, our post on why the closest stop is not always the fastest route uses a real saved route of 24 stops around Castle Hill and Kellyville. A run like that is well over the Free limit.
How much is Premium, and is the yearly plan worth it?
Premium is A$15 a month or A$140 a year. Here is the working:
- 12 months at A$15 = A$180.
- The yearly price is A$140, so you pay A$180 − A$140 = A$40 less, which is 40 ÷ 180 = 22% less.
- A$140 ÷ 12 = A$11.67 a month.
- Nine monthly payments are 9 × A$15 = A$135, which is less than A$140. Ten are 10 × A$15 = A$150, which is more. So the yearly plan is cheaper if you expect to keep Premium for 10 months or longer.
The app's plan screen shows a "2 months free" tag on the yearly plan. In dollars, A$180 − A$140 = A$40, which is a little more than two months at A$15.

If you only need Premium for a busy season, the monthly plan is the better fit.

How do you upgrade, pay and cancel?
- Where to see your plan: open the Profile tab. It says which plan you are on and shows an Upgrade to Premium button on the Free plan. Tap it, choose Annual or Monthly, then tap Continue to go to the secure checkout.
- How to pay: by card, through Stripe's secure checkout. You can do it from the website or from the Android app. Prices are in Australian dollars.
- What happens when you cancel: Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. After that your account goes back to the Free plan, and your routes stay saved.
How does the price compare with other route planners?
Other apps charge in US dollars, count stops differently and change prices often. We keep a dated side-by-side table with a link to each company's own pricing page on the MiliRoute pricing page. Questions
Is there a free trial?
No, because there is a Free plan instead. Routes of up to 10 stops are free with no credit card and no time limit.
Is anything locked behind Premium?
No. Premium changes one thing: the stop limit goes from 10 to none. Both plans use the same optimizer and every feature.
Can I go back to the Free plan?
Yes. If you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Then the account goes back to Free and your saved routes stay.
Do I pay in my own currency?
Prices are in Australian dollars. Check the amount at checkout before you pay.
I run a team. How does pricing work?
Each driver uses their own account and plans their own route. Email admin@miliroute.com and we will help you set up your drivers.
Does the 10-stop limit count the places I have saved as favourites?
No. The limit is on the number of stops in one route.
