Stops per hour calculator

Enter how many stops you completed and how long you worked. See your pace per hour and per stop.

How it is calculated

Working minutes = hours x 60 + extra minutes - break minutes
Stops per hour = stops / (working minutes / 60)
Minutes per stop = working minutes / stops

The time includes everything between starting and finishing, so driving, parking, walking and waiting are all counted.

Common questions

How do you calculate stops per hour?

Stops per hour = stops completed divided by hours worked. Minutes per stop = minutes worked divided by stops completed. Enter your break time if you want it left out of the working time.

Does stops per hour include driving time?

Yes. It is the whole working time divided by the stops, so it includes driving between stops, parking, walking and waiting.

What is a good number of stops per hour?

There is no single good number. It depends on the parcels, how close together the stops are, stairs, signatures and access. The most useful comparison is your own pace from week to week.
